I really do appreciate your email. I have good
news, we have found Marley! He was missing over a month so we almost
gave up.
A family had him
and took him to their nearest vet. Marley had a microchip so when he
was scanned his information was available. BUT, his information had a
phone number that was no longer current. After much searching, the
family finally found us and he has been returned. There ARE good people
out there, you just need a little faith and determination. I can't
believe Marley's information wasn't current, so all this grief was our
fault, but at least he is finally home!

He's home! That silly orange
Hobbes cat just strolled up to the door
at 10pm last night! I
couldn't believe it! Thanks so much for all
the emails, ideas and
support. They really kept me going and gave me
different avenues to pursue.
Thanks again for your
thoughts. God bless you.

Thank
you so much for the website. It provided some really good information
for my husband and I. It is really heartwarming that people care enough
to put together such a thorough site. I hope it helps bring my boy home.

I wanted to let you know our dog was returned to us today.
He is very skinny but otherwise ok - happy to be home and warm. I want
to thank you again for the advice on your website. We went to every
shelter in the area and expanded our search - we ended up getting a call
that he was much farther away than I had thought he would ever get. I
feel very thankful. ... Tonight there may
be a big storm and I can't even imagine where he would have found
shelter.
Thanks again for your help. In all my years of owning a dog I've never
once had one run away - I consider them my babies. Obviously I let him
down, and I'm going to do my best that it doesn't happen again.
Good luck with your work ... I
have forwarded your site to all of my dog loving friends. You gave me
hope when I didn't have any and may have made the difference in me
getting my little guy back.

Thank you so
much for your email. I had done several things to find my puppy, but
after reading your email, I thought that I would call the animal shelter
that is 25 miles from us and inquire. I didn't think she would be
there, but she was! Someone had brought her directly there only a few
hours after she ran off!
Thanks again!

Thank you for your email. I'm happy to say Katie found her way home last
night. She's as happy to be home as I am to have her!
Your suggestions ... are great, however I would add one that I gleaned
from another ... poster: Put something outside your door(s) with your
[pet's] scent. I read this suggestion after Katie had been missing for 4
days, put her blanket outside one door and her scratching pad outside
another -- and two days later she was at my door! I never would have
known to do this but it makes perfect sense, especially if the [pet] is
new to the home/neighborhood (as mine was).
Thank you for your efforts to bring home all the lost pets!

Thanks for your
email a while back. Your advice definitely helped because someone
returned our cat today [based on our efforts after reading your
website]! She's finally safe & sound after being missing
two weeks in the dead of winter!
Thank you again,
Whitney

Thank you for the encouragement, you are
very kind and thoughtful. The highest form of giving is when you do not
see the recipient and the benefactor is also anonymous. You have reached
out and I feel your inner kindness. There is something inside of me that
will forever be vigilant looking for my dog Simba. He has one overriding
characteristic and that is his sweet disposition. I’ll not loose hope
and I am continuing to search. I appreciate you reaching out, you are a
great help.
With joy,
